As soon as the calendar moves to September I start to get into a Fall/Winter mindset. Switching my closet, swapping summer pillows for darker colors and my favorite is looking at the calendar and planning each weekend. I count how many weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas to determine the best weekend to have friends over and celebrate the season – there are only 3 this year so a shorter entertaining season. With that in mind, a fall football party or bonfire is another fun option to bring friends together.
