I love Milwaukee and all of the locally owned restaurants in the city. I have lived here 20 years and have made the effort to try all of them, but there are so many, it is continuous work. 🙂 We have our favorites and we go back over and over. In the summer we ride our bikes downtown, and in the winter we watch Packers games at a local bar or restaurant. Definitely our source of entertainment.
I feel awful for all of the waitstaff and bartenders who are losing their jobs and would like to spread a little joy.

Where are your favorite places? I have three spots that I love because the staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing – Brat House, Fixture Pizza and the Milwaukee Athletic Club. Below is a snapshot of the many great times we have had at a Milwaukee Restaurant.
Yesterday at work, we ordered carryout from Swingin Door and it was awesome. Another favorite spot.
