October is Domestic violence awareness month and we would like to help support the work of the Family Peace Center in Milwaukee. They do an amazing job of helping women and families get back on their feet after leaving a relationship.

Wear purple on October 20, National #PurpleThursday. Purple – a color symbolizing peace, courage, survival, honor, and dedication to ending family violence. Share your purple on #PurpleThursday on your favorite social media outlets using #MKEPeace and #PurpleThursday. Your participation will demonstrate your commitment to creating a peaceful Milwaukee.
Looking ahead to the holidays, if your family or office is looking for a way to give back, consider adopting a family through the Family Peace Center. You are matched up with a family and given their holiday wish list. The best thing about this program is you have the opportunity to meet the mom and deliver the gifts.
